April 2026: Earth Day in Queen's Park
SIGNS OF SPRING: Happy Earth Day! It appears that "forest elves" were busy in Queen’s Park North (QPN) - tying green ribbons around more than fifty trees. The Weston Family’s generous donation toward the “revitalisation” of the park has sparked awareness and concern for QPN's irreplaceable old-growth grove of trees. Countless TO Residents’ Associations, U of T students, foresters, and neighbours are calling for the City to preserve QPN as an urban treasure - a rare sanctuary of respite and restoration in the midst of an increasingly densified downtown core.
